Quick Updates

The last time I posted was in February.

I'm sorry, I've been so occupied with life & school work & it's been really hard for me to find time to post anything.

I'm not promising to post anything or to do anything... what I will promise is to start posting once I finish the school year. My grades are high & I'm going into 9th grade next year so I need to focus on school for the next month and a half.

Thanks for still staying subscribed & thank you for not leaving.

Review: Wet N Wild Walking On Eggshells Trio

In the blog universe and the Youtube world, everyone talks about this Wet N Wild trio and how it's an essential. Now that I've bought it and tried it, I have to agree, this trio is amazing.

The back of the packaging shows you how to apply these colors, I think the steps are a nice touch, they're very helpful.

The trio comes with three colors, an eyelid, browbone and crease.

The eyelid color is a shimmery light pink. It's very pretty and subtle. All of the colors in this trio are shimmery.

The browbone color is a white and the shimmer is not that noticible until you actually put it on your browbone.

I love the crease color, it's just a simple shimmery brown that works with my other eyeshadow colors that aren't in this trio.

The picture above was taken late in the afternoon in natural sunlight.

This picture was taken with my lamp on so it casts a little bit of a yellowy glow.

I give this product a 5/5 because the pigmentation is amazing, the color really stands out without a primer and I just love the way the colors all match.

February Sponsors

To really start off this month, I'm offering free ad swaps. Of course, they're always free but this month is going to be different. I use Passionfruit to manage my ads & to swap ads with me, you just have to have a Passionfruit account. The deal is, I put one of your ads on Pastel Mints and you have to put one of my adson your blog. Most of the time, people forget to sign up to take one of my ads and I'm left there advertising you while on your site, you don't have my button up. See how this can get frustrating? Anyways, sign up below!

Don't forget to use the code FREESPOT ! Please write me an email after signing up so we can talk about putting my button up on your blog and vice versa!
Email: thisislifesoloveit@gmail.com

Note: I will accept the ads on February 2nd and it will end on March 2nd so you will have a full 28 days.

I'm Alive! & What's Been Going On.

It feels like forever since the last time I've posted here. I truly am so sorry for neglecting this blog, I feel really bad. It's been like 3 weeks and I'm feeling really fresh and ready to start again.

I do have a couple of things to talk about as well as some updates as to what's been going on in my life.

1. To start off with, I moved into a new house. That is probably one of the biggest excuse I have, it's just hard to post when you're packing and especially when there are lots of tests/homework to keep up with as well.

2. I also haven't had a lot of motivation to post and it sucks. I had no new ideas, no inspiration and I just didn't feel in the mood at all.  Now I'm completely refreshed and so ready to improve this blog and start posting more.

3. As for right now, the book reviews that I had previously planned will be canceled and in place of that, I'll be introducing a new monthly feature instead. Details will be revealed in a couple of days so stay tuned!

Thanks everyone for all the support, it means a lot.

How To Clean The Inside Of Your Pencil Case

I recently found this lovely pencil case in the perfect color and I really wanted to use this as a makeup bag but the problem was that I used this case for pencil crayons and whatever and the inside had gotten dirty.

1. First thing I did was flip my pencil case inside out so that the dirty parts were facing out.

You can see where the lead made marks and scratched the pencil case. The seams are the places where the most dirty and lead gather up.
There are 2 solutions to this problem, I used them both.

Solution 1:
 1. Take an eraser. Any eraser will do. Try and erase some of the dirt as much as you can. After this step, move onto Solution 2.

Solution 2:
 You will need:
